Meet Through Me (“MTM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how Meet Through Me may collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use MTM, create an account, act as a Connector, view a profile shared with you, express interest in another participant, participate in beta testing, or otherwise interact with our services.

1. Information We May Collect

The information MTM collects depends on how you interact with the service.

Information You Provide

We may collect information such as:

• Name
• Age or date of birth
• Email address
• Phone number
• City or general location
• Account credentials
• Profile photographs
• Profile responses and personal descriptions
• Dating preferences or information about what you are looking for
• Information you voluntarily provide about your lifestyle, interests, values, or preferences
• Communications with MTM
• Feedback and survey responses
• Reports or support requests

Connector Information

If you participate as a Connector, we may collect:

• Your name
• Contact information
• Your relationship or connection to an MTM participant, if provided
• Connector comments or recommendations
• Information regarding invitations, profile sharing, or QR-code activity associated with your Connector role

Information Related to Introductions

When an MTM profile is shared or someone expresses interest, we may collect information such as:

• That a profile was shared
• That a QR code was scanned
• That a profile was viewed
• Whether interest was expressed
• Whether interest was mutual
• Information necessary to facilitate a connection

We do not necessarily disclose all of this activity to other participants.

For example, MTM may track profile views for operational or analytical purposes without identifying every person who viewed a profile to the profile owner.

2. Information Collected Automatically

When you access MTM, certain technical information may be collected automatically, depending on how the service is configured.

This may include:

• Device type
• Browser type
• Operating system
• IP address
• App or website activity
• Dates and times of access
• Pages or features viewed
• QR-code scans
• Referral information
• Error and diagnostic information

MTM may use this information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the service.

• Display participant profiles.
• Enable Connector functionality.
• Facilitate introductions.
• Process expressions of interest.
• Enable mutual connections.
• Communicate with participants.

• Identify bugs and improve functionality.
• Prevent fraud, misuse, or security threats.
• Enforce our Terms of Service.
• Protect the safety, rights, and privacy of participants.

4. How Profiles Are Shared

MTM is designed around intentional profile sharing rather than unrestricted public profile browsing.

A participant may authorize trusted Connectors to help facilitate introductions.

A Connector may receive a unique QR code or other sharing tool that provides another person with access to the participant’s profile.

People receiving an introduction may be able to view information the participant has chosen to include in their MTM profile.

Participants should therefore only include information in their profile that they are comfortable having viewed by people who receive an authorized introduction.

5. Connector Information

A Connector may provide comments or information explaining why they believe someone may want to meet the person they are representing.

Depending on MTM’s functionality, these comments may be displayed as part of the profile-sharing experience.

Connectors should not provide sensitive or private information about another person that the person has not authorized them to share.

6. Expressions of Interest

If someone expresses interest in an MTM participant, MTM may collect information necessary to communicate that interest and allow the other participant to decide whether they would also like to connect.

Contact information will not be intentionally disclosed between participants through the mutual-connection process unless the conditions established by MTM for connecting have been met.

7. How We May Share Information

MTM may share information when reasonably necessary to provide the service.

This may include sharing information:

With Other Participants

Information may be shared with other participants when necessary for profile viewing, introductions, expressions of interest, or mutual connections.

With Connectors

Information may be shared with a participant’s authorized Connectors as necessary for them to perform the Connector role.

With Service Providers

MTM may use third-party service providers to support functions such as:

• Hosting and infrastructure
• Database storage
• Authentication
• Email or text communications
• Analytics
• Error monitoring
• Security
• Customer support

These providers may process information on MTM’s behalf in connection with providing their services.

For Legal or Safety Reasons

MTM may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law or valid legal process.
• Protect the rights or safety of MTM, its participants, or others.
• Investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Enforce MTM’s Terms of Service.

Business Transactions

If MTM is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

8. Sale of Personal Information

MTM does not currently sell personal information for money.

If MTM’s practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any legally required choices or notices will be provided.

9. Marketing and Testimonials

Participating in MTM or providing beta feedback does not automatically give MTM permission to use your name, photograph, likeness, or identifiable testimonial in public marketing.

MTM may separately request permission to use testimonials, photographs, or other identifiable content for promotional purposes.

Declining such a request will not affect your ability to use MTM unless otherwise disclosed.

10. Data Retention

MTM may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the service.
• Maintain accounts.
• Facilitate introductions.
• Meet legal or regulatory obligations.
• Resolve disputes.
• Prevent fraud or abuse.
• Maintain appropriate business records.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

11. Account and Privacy Requests

Participants may contact MTM to request assistance regarding their personal information or account.

Depending on applicable law and the nature of the request, participants may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.

MTM may need to verify the identity of the person making a request before completing it.

12. Security

MTM uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information.

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Participants should protect their account credentials and notify MTM if they believe their account or information has been compromised.

13. Children’s Privacy

Meet Through Me is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old.

MTM does not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to create accounts or participate in dating introductions through the service.

If MTM learns that personal information from a person under 18 has been collected contrary to these requirements, MTM will take appropriate steps to address the information.

14. Third-Party Services

MTM may use or link to third-party websites, applications, or services.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and MTM is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that MTM does not control.

15. Beta Testing

During beta testing, MTM may collect additional information about how participants interact with the app in order to evaluate functionality and improve the experience.

This may include:

• Profile completion
• Connector invitations and acceptance
• Profile sharing
• QR-code scans
• Profile views
• Expressions of interest
• Connections
• Feature usage
• Feedback
• Error and performance information

Beta analytics may be used to understand how the MTM process is functioning and identify areas for improvement.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

MTM may update this Privacy Policy as the service develops or its privacy practices change.

If material changes are made, MTM may provide notice through the app, by email, or through another appropriate method.

The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates the current version.
